2. Cancellation by Client

If you wish to cancel a service, the following conditions apply:

  • Before Service Commencement: If you cancel a service before work has begun, a full refund will be provided minus any administrative fees or costs incurred in preparation for the service.
  • During Service Delivery: If you cancel a service after work has begun, payment will be required for all work completed up to the point of cancellation, plus any non-refundable expenses incurred by Shyambook.
  • Fixed-Price Projects: For fixed-price projects, cancellation terms will be as specified in the service agreement or statement of work.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to contact@shyam-book.shop with the subject line "Service Cancellation Request" and must include your name, contact information, and details about the service to be cancelled.

3. Refund Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Full Refund: A full refund may be issued if:
    • The service has not yet been initiated and no costs have been incurred.
    • Shyambook is unable to deliver the promised services for reasons within our control.
  • Partial Refund: A partial refund may be issued if:
    • The service is cancelled after commencement but before completion.
    • There is a substantial and demonstrable deviation from the agreed-upon deliverables or service quality that cannot be remedied.
  • No Refund: No refund will be issued if:
    • The service has been fully delivered according to the agreed-upon specifications.
    • The client requests changes to the agreed-upon scope of work after project completion.
    • The client fails to provide required information, materials, or approvals in a timely manner, resulting in delays or additional costs.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to contact@shyam-book.shop with the subject line "Refund Request" and must include your name, contact information, payment details, and the reason for the refund request.

4. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are generally non-refundable:

  • Custom software or website development services that have been delivered according to specifications.
  • Consulting services that have been delivered.
  • Domain registration and hosting services that have been activated.
  • License fees for third-party software or services purchased on behalf of the client.
  • Rush fees or expedited service fees.

5. Processing of Refunds

If a refund is approved, the following conditions apply:

  • Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment that was used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Processing time for refunds may vary depending on the payment method and financial institutions involved, typically taking 5-10 business days to appear in your account.
  • Any applicable taxes, processing fees, or currency conversion charges may be deducted from the refund amount.

6. Cancellation by Shyambook

Shyambook reserves the right to cancel services under the following circumstances:

  • If the client breaches the terms of the service agreement.
  • If the client fails to provide necessary information, materials, or approvals within a reasonable timeframe.
  • If the client engages in abusive or inappropriate behavior toward our staff.
  • If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control prevent us from delivering the service.

In the event of cancellation by Shyambook, the client will be notified in writing, and the refund policy outlined above will apply as appropriate.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website.
